What’s the difference between Christmas and Xmas?
Christmas is the ‘original’ or Christian way to spell the word. As the saying goes, in the word ‘Xmas’ Christ is removed so the word is not spelt in a religious way. However, if you are not sure whether someone is Christian or Catholic, it is better to say, ‘Season’s Greetings’ or ‘Happy Holidays’. Season’s Greetings and Happy Holidays are the politically correct forms.
